One of my side hobbies is recreating period graphic design and layouts, so naturally making a newspaper is something I find incredibly entertaining. In my RedM roleplay server, I was offered an opportunity to start up a newspaper “business” on my character Dr. Kane.
I did some research on the style of the paper in Red Dead Redemption 2. While I did not intend to mimic it exactly, I wanted to recreate certain details that would evoke the essence of the real game asset. This current version is a culmination of several other newspapers in previous servers I worked on. Over the years, I’ve improved my skills as Adobe InDesign and refined the visual style I envisioned for the paper.
I credit all original writings, assets, graphics, and fonts to their original creators, including those submitted to me by other players who may have employed usage of generative AI for images.
